The attentive staff made our experience delightful, especially during chef nights serving delicious Balinese dishes. We also enjoyed the numerous amenities and the relaxed ambiance of the hotel, which were truly refreshing.

Sadly, the lack of air conditioning in our room made it uncomfortable in the Belize heat. Dim lighting due to faulty fixtures added to the challenge, detracting from the overall comfort of our stay.

Consider renting a bike to explore Placencia and its beautiful beaches, which can offer a more inviting experience than those directly by the hotel.

The resort boasts beautifully decorated cottages that exude a rustic elegance with touches like Balinese decor and a delightful outdoor shower. The integration of the property into the natural surroundings creates a lovely, tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation.

Air conditioning struggles to keep up with the Belize heat in the rooms, which can get uncomfortably stuffy, particularly at night. Additionally, the nearby noise from traffic can disrupt tranquility around the pool area, making it hard to fully unwind throughout the day.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Turtle Inn By Francis Ford Coppola! Our room, the Cottage Garden View, was beautifully decorated and offered a lovely outdoor shower that made us feel connected to nature. The restaurant featured chef nights where we enjoyed delicious Balinese dishes, which were a culinary highlight of our stay. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, perfect for relaxation.

The beach area was disappointing due to seaweed and sports equipment.

Our stay was really chill! The staff knew us by name and even opened the shop just for some tums when I needed them – so nice! Loved the outdoor shower in our cottage, and the breakfast in bed was a treat. Just wish the beach access was a bit closer. it took some time to get down there.

More accessible seating options by the beach would help.

Just an ideal choice for a brief weekend stay in Placencia with extraordinarily good value for money. The staff was incredibly attentive, noticing we would be more comfortable in a two-bedroom villa without us even asking. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep in past 6am.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Turtle Inn, where the unique design captivated my art historian's eye. The outdoor shower added a delightful touch, and every meal offered a new flavor to experience. However, some evening noise was a bit disruptive, yet the beauty of the place overshadowed it.

So, I stayed in the Poolside Cottage with Sea View, and it was spacious with beautiful Balinese decor, but it felt kind of dim because there were only nightstand lights working. I really missed AC since the ceiling fan just didn’t cut it in the heat. The netted windows were nice for a breeze, but they made me feel a bit exposed, you know? Overall, the vibe was cozy, but comfort-wise, it could definitely use some work.

I was absolutely charmed by the stunning Balinese decor throughout the grounds! The cottage we stayed in was spacious and featured an amazing outdoor shower that made for the perfect tropical experience. Plus, the variety of restaurants, especially the pizza place, kept our taste buds dancing every night!

The villa was amazing with beautiful Balinese decor, private bathroom, and outdoor shower. Loved lounging by the pool and enjoyed the spa facilities like yoga classes and massages. Had air conditioning, free toiletries, and a fan to keep us comfortable. Restaurant had options like seafood and pizza for meals.
